Everyone loves flowers and almost everyone that has a camera tries to capture their beauty. Learn from Dan Waters and Lori A. Cash now it’s closer stanchion or it will go to a this is an in how to, not just make a snapshot of a flower, but turn that snapshot into an expressive portrait. We will discuss and practice many different techniques for photographing flowers and gardens:

How to make your lens focus closer with extension tubes, or D500 close-up filter.

Using your wide-angle lens for photographing flowers and gardens.

How to control depth of field and backgrounds with a telephoto lens.

Using a diffuser and reflector to control contrast.

Many other special techniques for photographing flowers and gardens. 

Full day on site photo session and in the field lecture.

 

Recommended equipment: Camera that can be manually adjusted, camera manual, wide angle and short telephoto lenses, lens hoods, tripod, any filters you may have (polarizer, close-up filters), extension tubes, laptop (if you have one), extra batteries and extra memory cards or film.
 
Limit 12 participants. A $60 deposit is due at time of registration and remaining balance due 30 days prior to the workshop date. Fees can be paid by check, money order or by credit card.
